Yeah she's dead.

When the family unanimously decided that it was meg's responsability to take care of her mother, they certainly meant to give her the most humiliating chore. What they didn't know was that Meg enjoyed every second of it; she loved to see Lois riun her body and her life and turning herself into a disgusting mass of fat and grease. When she finally died, Meg enjoyed for a while the difference in the atmosphere of the room. It was colder, and definitely quieter without the incessant noise made by Lois' body. The smell... the smell was still the same.

Well, i guess the series is actually over this time. We've hit what in the wonderful world of science we call a tehoretical limit.
